COVID – 19: –
COVID – 19 means Coronavirus disease started in the Wuhan City of China in 2019.
The disease was started in Wuhan City in a seafood market through wildlife animals. Somehow it jumped from the wildlife animals to humans.
Once one person gets infected then it spread through one human to another. The main mode of transmission is through respiratory droplets when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or talk.
So when an infected person emits these respiratory droplets through cough, sneezing, or talking then these droplets can land on the surface or they can directly enter another human through the mouth, nose, or eyes.
When and Where: –
The very first case was reported on December 31, 2019, in Wuhan City of China. From that city, the virus spread to all of China, and then from China, it spread to the whole world.
In India, the first case was reported on January 30, 2020, in Kerala. India currently has the second-highest number of confirmed cases in the world after the United States. Nowadays more than 90,000 cases are coming daily.
However, the fatality rate is lowest in India as compared to other countries.
